On Sunday 10th December, the Salvation Army Band from Hove came along to play Christmas Carols for us. The band really enjoyed their afternoon stood by our signal box, carols for our passengers as they boarded the train for their ride to the North Pole.
Many Carols were played, with some passengers staying after their ride to sing along with the band. Much amusement was had whilst we watched the trombone player keep moving to avoid the trains that were coming towards him. It was heard said “mind your trombone, we don’t want you to damage our precious locos”!!
